Templates to Aid in Your Success

We’ve curated a set of resources for you (as a Fundraiser Chair) to let potential supporters know how to do the most for your fundraiser.

These templates were designed to be easy for you to customize as desired. Simply download the file and personalize the message. Most templates have fields that you will need to populate with your information, such as your organization name and fundraiser link. These fields are in red to make it easy to see what you need to change.

Refer to the instructions below to learn where to find the pieces of information you will need to fill in:

  • Parent Letter - Download your parent letter directly from the Toolkit on your Chair Dashboard.

  • Registration Link - The seller registration link can be found in Step 1 of your Parent Letter
  • Fundraiser Link - Find your custom fundraiser link in your Chair Dashboard. Just click Share Now, and then the orange circle to Copy Link. This link will take you to your Fundraiser Landing Page

Here are a few suggestions of how you can use the templates:

    • Edit the text directly in the document, save as a PDF, and print or email the PDF to share.
    • Copy the text and paste wherever you feel works well for the message and your audience (via email, directly on social media, etc.).
    • Copy the image and paste wherever you feel works well, along with your own text.

Note: These templates were designed to be used in the context of school or group fundraising, so we will refer to the primary audience of these messages as parents, principals, and teachers. If you’re fundraising for a different type of organization and would like help adjusting messaging for your audience, please reach out to Customer Care and we will be happy to help.

A list of the templates we’ve created for Fundraising Chairs, and how we suggest using them is below.

    Announcement Letters

The Announcement Letters below are designed to be sent to different groups of people who will be critical to the success of your fundraiser, letting them know what they can do to help at that particular point of the process.

Using the Announcement Letters: To download the document, simply click the graphic below the title of the letter.

    Your Fundraiser is Starting Soon

Your Fundraiser is Starting Soon Letter

Send this message out to the parents at your school approximately one week before your fundraiser begins.

This will let parents know when your fundraiser begins and will direct them to a 2-minute video that covers the main actions they can take to support your fundraiser.

    Your Fundraiser is Happening Now

Your Fundraiser is Happening Now Letter - Principal

This letter is designed for the school principal to send to parents the day the fundraiser begins, because we’ve seen that this message drives the most action when sent from the principal (using their school email address). The parent letter should be included with this message as well.

We suggest filling in the necessary information for the principal, asking them in advance if they are willing to send it out, and reminding them the day before your fundraiser begins to send on the start date.

This will let parents know that your fundraiser is now live and ready for support.  The most important element of this message is the link to Seller Registration, which is the first step that parents should take to support your fundraiser. The letter also links to a 2-minute video that reviews the main actions parents can take to support your fundraiser.

Your Fundraiser is Happening Now (Alternate)

Your Fundraiser is Happening Now Letter - Alternate

If your school principal is unable to send out the Happening Now message above, you should send this version of the message out to parents the day your fundraiser begins. Remember to send the parent letter at that time as well.

    Your Fundraiser is Halfway Through

Your Fundraiser is Halfway Through Letter

Send this message to parents at the midpoint of your fundraiser.

This message reminds parents of your fundraiser end date and directs them to Seller Registration, which is one of the most important steps that parents should take to support your fundraiser.

Your Fundraiser is Almost Over (Version 1)

Your Fundraiser is Almost Over Parent Letter

Send this message to parents approximately 3 days before your fundraiser ends.

This message reminds parents that it is their final chance to take action to support their fundraiser, and drives them to the Fundraiser Landing Page where they can shop to support or share the fundraiser with family and friends.

Your Fundraiser is Almost Over (Version 2)

Your Fundraiser is Almost Over Teacher Letter

Send this message to school staff approximately 3 days before your fundraiser ends. If possible, share this reminder with staff members in a teacher meeting as well.

This message reminds school staff that the fundraiser is ending soon, and it’s their final days to earn the teacher incentive (detailed below). Teachers should also remind their students of the approaching end date.

    Teacher Incentive Flier

Using the Teacher Incentive Flier: To download the document, simply click the graphic below.

    Teacher Incentive Flier

Send this message to the teachers at your school at the beginning of your fundraiser. If possible, announce the incentive and distribute a printed copy of the flier during a teacher meeting as well.

Boon Supply loves teachers, so we developed our Teacher Incentive program to thank them for their help encouraging fundraiser participation. Boon will send teachers with a 50% or greater classroom participation rate a promo code for $100 to spend on our site, or a code for $150 to those with 75% or greater participation.

Direct the teachers to complete this flier at the end of the fundraiser and return it to you via your preferred method (print out or email). Then, send the completed fliers to your Boon Consultant. We’ll send the promo code to the teacher at the email address listed on their flier.

    Social Media Graphics

We’ve designed the graphics below for you to use to spread the word about your fundraiser. We suggest posting the images on your school, PTA, and/or personal social media accounts, along with a caption that directs viewers to where they can find your Fundraiser Link. Of course, these will work on any site where you can add images (not just on social media), so be sure to post about your fundraiser on the school and PTA websites as well.

Alternatively, you can use your own imagery when sharing your fundraiser. The more personal, the better!

Using the Social Media Graphics: Simply save the image to your device and post as desired.
